Arykanda

Arykanda rises in terraces near Arif village, among cedar and pine. The sea is a distant glint; the real view is the Bey Mountains. Stadium, baths and theatre climb the same slope, so expect stairs and uneven stone after the car park.

Start early in summer — shade is scarce on the upper terraces. From Finike the drive is about 40–50 minutes. Carry water and layered clothing; winter clear days fill the theatre bowl with Toros silhouettes.

You can combine Arykanda with Gökbük Canyon in one long day, but Arykanda alone deserves a half day if you want photos without rushing.
